The ILB was launched at 1414 to a report of a windsurfer in difficulty in the vicinity of 26 buoy (off Whitley Lake). On arrival at the scene the windsurfer was found lying on his board, tired but OK. He and his board were taken on to the ILB and he was wrapped up to keep warm. Another windsurfer was also reported to be in a similar condition near the "Bullpit" but the ILB found him happy and safe in shallow water. They took the first windsurfer ashore. The ILB was away from Station for a bare half hour.
