Poole's all weather Lifeboat was called out to a yacht that had a predicament in the harbour

The pagers went off at 19.15, a launch request by the coastguards To assist a 47ft ketch called "Jacobs Ladder".

She had set sail from Holes Bay, but only got as far as Brownsea Island, when it was discovered that the prop was fouled up by the mooring buoy.

The yacht had one person aboard, although there was no imminent danger, the Lifeboat was called out and towed her safely back to Poole Quay.
