30th December 1609 ILB launched to a person in the water off Boscombe Pier, after a thorough nobody was found.ILB returned to station  
14th December 2108Person in the water off Boscombe Pier.ILB stood down when the person was found ashore.  

12th December

0337 ILB launched to a report of a person in the water off Bournemouth Pier,casualty found ashore ILB stood down.  
8th December 1918 ILB launched to a report of someone crying for "help" in Shell Bay.ILB arrived on scene to find a man aboard a cabin cruiser and his wife with 2 big dogs had drifted away on the tender.All was recovered and reunited, they had taken refuge on a fishing boat.  
5th Dec

20:00 Both of the Poole Lifeboats were launched to a “Mayday” in the harbour. The 8 metre Starfish boat “Sharlin” had collided with something near Aunty Betty Buoy which had caused the bow of the boat to cave in and she was sinking fast.

13th October 15.44 Both boats called to a Sunseeker Hawk 34 that had gone aground on the mud up the Wareham Channel.ALB pulled the casualty off and the crew checked over the engine for overheating, all was ok and the boat resumed its journey.  
11th October 1501 ILB launched to a canoeist reported to be in trouble off Hamworthy Park. Arriving on scene they found a lady canoeist slumped in canoe held either side by two other canoeist.The ILB went alongside recovered the casualty into the ILB, she was extremely cold and hypothermic and quite poorly. The crew wrapped her up warm and then the ILB proceeded to deeper water where the helicopter met them and winched up the casualty, then took her to the nearest hospital for treatment. She is fully recovered and popped in the boathouse the other day!  
10th October

1130 ALB was tasked whilst returning from exercise to two capsized dinghy's in Balls Lake, one had water in its bilges due to pump failure, the ALB waited on scene as the dinghy's sorted themselves out. Whilst returning to station the Lifeboat was flagged down by a 12 metres yacht who had a rope around his propeller, the ALB towed it to Town Quay unable to free the rope, the ILB took the yacht back to its berth at Cobbs Quay. Then at 18.36 both Boats launched to a report of an overdue windsurfer but as the boats went down the harbour they were both stood down as the windsurfer had turned up safe and well.

 
2nd October 13.30 ALB launched to a report of engine failure on a fishing boat at the entrance of the harbour.When the Lifeboat arrived on scene they found the 22ft fishing boat"Julia Maria" on a mooring by Brownsea Castle,his engine had overheated.The Lifeboat towed the casualty back to Davis's boatyard.  
1st October 1834 ALB launched to a motorboat in difficulty on one of the wildest nights.Not a night you would want to be out at sea!
23rd August 04.48 On one of the wettest night this year both boats launched to a 42' trimaran that was taking shelter off the East Dorset yacht Club under evening Hill.One of the crew had gone ashore suffering with Hypothermia and ,the coastguard was concerned over the welfare of the remaining crew the weather was relentless so,it was decided hat he should be towed to the Dolphin Marina where it was more sheltered,  

22nd August

Yacht on fire near to the Parkstone yacht club.
15th Aug Vessel destroyed by fire, two brought to shore.
7th Aug Vessel sinks north of Brownsea Island near to the Fuel Barge. It appears to of hit something submerged in the water
20th July 1519 ALB launched to a 25ft Fisher calling for help off "Old Harry" The "Lady Jean" auxiliary coastguard boat responded and took initial tow,the ALB took over the tow and brought the boat back to Lake Pier.  
19th July 1015 launched to a women in the water, she was out of the water when they arrived on scene.  
18th July 1230.Both boats help out whilst on route to and from Swanage Lifeboat Open Day
17th July 0207. ILB launched to report of a dinghy with 3 persons on board. Dinghy towed back to boathouse  
16th July 0540. ILB launched to person threatening to jump off Poole Bridge. Police also in attendance.  
15th July 1835. ILB, whilst on exercise, assisted a small capsized dinghy with 3 persons on board. Dinghy was righted and towed to Mitchell's boatyard.  
13th July 1628. ILB launched to person on Long Island with a broken wrist, she was brought back to shore and passed to a waiting Ambulance.  
9th July 1800. ILB self-launched when a member of the public came to the boathouse with a report of a friend whose RIB had broken down in the harbour.  
6th July 1638. ILB self-launched to assist the 40' MFV 'Vivien-Sue' who was trapped, by the tide, against Poole's lifting bridge.  
3rd July 1530. Whilst on exercise the ILB was tasked by Portland to a broken down motorboat 'Merlin' at no.3 buoy. All passengers were found to be ok and they were towed back to Davis' Boatyard.  
29th June

1330. ILB launched to the report of a person in the water off of Flaghead Chine. the person was recovered before the ILB reached the scene.

1907 ILB launched to a report of an overturned dingy - two people in the water at Rockley Sands. They were recovered and towed back to Lake Road.

 
29th June 0400 ALB & ILB launched to search for a missing Yachtsman.
19th June 18.25 ALB launched to a vessel sinking off hengistbury Head. Mudeford ILB in attendance,it seems that the prop was fouled.The ALB towed the boat back to Dolphin Haven.  

18th June

12.22 ILB launched to a broken down speedboat.It had run out of fuel so was towed back to the fuel barge.  
17th June 1540 ILB & ALB launched to assist canoeist's caught out by the strong ebb tide and strong cold winds.
13th June 1852. ALB launched to a 40' "Frida" motor boat taking in water. Mudeford lifeboat were escorting her towards Poole. The Poole LB took over the tow, back to the RMYC.  
7th June 1629. ILB launched to a motor boat called 'Beautiful Stranger' who was sinking by the training bank. As the stern drive was hanging off the back of the boat it had to be secured before the boat could be towed back to Cobbs Quay.  
6th June 1425. ILB launched to a 16' speedboat with broken steering who was drifting out to sea in the main channel. The casualties were, happily, towed back to Davis' Boatyard.  
4th June

1620. ALB and ILB launched to a report of a vessel broken down and drifting towards the Sandbanks ferry. 1750 ILB launched to a man at Round Island with a dislocated shoulder.

3rd June 1522. ILB launched to the "Blue Lagoon" who was snagged on the chains of the Sandbanks ferry. After requesting that the ferry move across to the centre, so that the chains moved enough to raise the anchor, it was freed.  
1st June 1516. ILB launched to a canoe in distress which was escorted back to shore.  
23rd May 1000. ILB launched to take over the tow from a 5' RIB which was towing a small cabin cruiser back from Old Harry Rocks. The concerns were that the tide was beginning to turn and that there were major ferry movements in progress while the vessels were little headway.  
15th May 1100. ILB launched during a PR exercise on Brownsea Island when a Hobeycat was seen to be swept under the bow of the chain ferry. It was towed away into safe water.  
14th May 0853. LB launched to the 27' "Flare" which was stuck on the rocks.  
7th May 0330. ILB launched to a French yacht aground within the Harbour entrance.  
1st May

1923. Both boats launched to a report of a vessel on fire to the west of South Deep. When the boats arrived at the scene, they found that the boat was aground and the smoke was due to the seized engine

 
27th April 1743. ILB launched to a person, from St Annes, in the water. 1746 Launch cancelled due to false alarm.  
23rd April 0814. ILB launched to a yacht in Studland Bay with a fowled propellor. John Vine saved the day and the prop by cutting it free and getting very wet in the process!  
20th April 0844. ILB launched to report of a person in the water at Shore Road, Sandbanks. We were stood down when the person was landed by ambulance personel.  
17th April 2119. Both boats launched to report of red flares in the vicinity of Boscombe Pier. After an extensive search nothing was found.  
9th April 1750. ILB launched to assist a boat aground at Stoney Island.  

6th April

1658.ILB launched to a report of an elderly person in the water off Shore Road.
5th March 1635. ILB Launched to assist vessel that required towing.  
4th Mar 2123. Report of red flare in Holes Bay area. ILB launched in poor visibility and after an extensive search nothing was found.  
23rd Feb 0951. ILB launched to a windsurfer who'd been swept off course into the busy mid (shipping) channel. He was taken back to Baiter Park.  
19th Feb ILB launched twice to a yacht aground and three teenagers in difficulty.Yacht aground at Aunt Betty's buoy and a report of three children in a 7ft inflatable dinghy drifting towards the harbour's busy entrance.
14th Feb 1409. ILB launched to report of possible red flare SE of Bournemouth Pier, nothing was found, after an extensive search .  
1st Feb.

2215 Report of red flares off Fisherman's Walk Boscombe.ALB launched nothing found, return to station 0035.

 
29th Jan 2216 ILB launched to report of red parachute flares in the Arne area of Wareham channel. Nothing found, returned to station 2345.  
15th Jan 2118 two people jumped into the quay by the Jolly Sailor after a domestic, the ILB launched and pulled them both out of the water to safety, as they were being swept away by the tide.  

11th Jan

1329 ILB launched to a capsized hobie cat off Rockley, in quite choppy conditions, when they arrived on scene the marines had already secured a tow, The ILB escorted them to Rockley Park.

 
8th Jan 1632 ILB launched to investigate a washed up fishing boat in Holes Bay. Nothing untoward was found.
