Sunday 26th November - Sandbanks Hotel

Tailor Made Estate Agents recently sponsored a 'Jazz at Lunchtime' event which raised £1840 towards training the crew and running the station.

The jazz event was held at the Sandbanks Hotel, and we are very grateful to John Butterworth of FJB Hotels Ltd for providing this venue for free. It was great fun and even if you are not a fan your feet would of been tapping.

Poole and district fundraising chairman Brian Traves is pictured below. Brian had the idea to hold this fantastic event and managed to cajole his son Chris Traves and 7 other musicians to give up their time and come down from London and play for nothing !!

Brian is seen auctioning a knot board made by John Clark snr off which raised £75. John Clark snr is an ex 2nd Coxswain of Poole lifeboat.
