"Poole to Poole" charity event.

Robin and Ruth Kisbee revisited Poole lifeboat station on Tuesday 31May at 3pm.

They left the station seven weeks earlier on their epic ‘Poole to Poole’ trip, inspired by Michael Palin’s ‘Pole to Pole’ travels.

Their mission was to visit as many lifeboat stations as they could while travelling around the coast anticlockwise in their mobile home. They visited 169 stations in total and have a diary full of signatures to prove it!
Through sponsorship they have raised over £3,000 that will go towards vital crew training.
Some of the crew were at the station to welcome them back and congratulate them on their fantastic achievement but the pagers went off and, c’est la vie, the ILB had to shoot off on a shout!
