Update Number 3 on The Tyne Project

Christian is a regular visitor to the Station and has created magnificent working models of the Poole Lifeboats. Here, hot from the press, are photographs of his latest work, a model of the Tyne Class "City Of Sheffield".

In the first installment, you can see pictures of the creation of the Hull and the first running trials.

In the second installment, some of the finer details of the model are starting to take shape including members of the crew and here in the third installment you can see that the upper structures of the boat are taking shape and the accuracy of the bow wave formed by the model can be checked.
