Liam is the Principal Relief Fleet Manager RNLI

where he was a Charter Skipper / Ops Manager. He trained as a Marine
Engineer, worked on Fishing trawlers and coasters, but the last
time he got his hands dirty was about twenty years ago. His friends

Crew: Watchman
Role: Mascot
Joined: 1990
Facts: Always On Duty !
The watchman is a handsome gnome made by a few of
the retired crew. He sits on a steel pile and his job is to watch
over the lifeboats. He once fell overboard after a passing boat's
wash dislodged him and he was lost at sea for a while then Steve
"X" volunteered to rescue him. Steve donned his diving
suit and retrieved hime from the murky depths.
After a fresh lick of paint he was put back in position.
He sits, quite contented, keeping an eye over both the boats in
all weather. |
